Lyocell is a natural man-made fiber, made from wood cellulose. That is obtained from sustainable tree farms. This fabric has a versatile use, it can be used to design various styles of garments (shorts, dresses, shirts, etc) Lyocell, is soft, silky and breathable. It is a highly absorbent material, which is perfect for humid climate. The fabric gives every design a beautiful appearance because of its smooth and soft surface. Hemp is considered to be a “super fiber”. It has triple the strength of cotton and is an extremely sturdy fabric. This fabric protects you from the sun with its UV resistance qualities. It has carbon negative properties, which, has no effect on the environment. The material is super soft and lightweight. And is ideal for a hot summer day. Hemp fabric can be easily transformed into a beautiful garment.
Peace silk is also known as Ahimsa Silk literally meaning non-violence silk. Unlike conventional silk, Peace silk is made from abandoned silk worm cocoons. When the moth hatches, it breaks the silk thread that protects the pupa. Artisans have to carefully unwind the thread from the cocoon and weave them together. It is biodegradable and can also be recycled. Silk has temperature regulating properties.
The process of turning PET (polyethylene terephthalate) into recycled polyester requires much less energy than making virgin polyester.
